Why Airy?

Project Abstract

I’m passionate about solving challenges and fostering innovation to create unique user experiences. I often think, "What if... what if..." to find new ways to simplify daily life. One particular area I’m focused on is travel. Despite its joys, traveling can be stressful, with issues like security checks and the fear of missing a flight. My goal is to design an app that alleviates these travel-related stressors. Through innovative visualization and user-centered design, I plan to optimize travel logistics, minimize wait times, and offer real-time updates to make the travel experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Problem space

1. What is the single idea you want the viewer to come away with?

Make your trip the most pleasant experience from start to finish.

2. What is the main problem?

People frequently experience stress related to their airport encounters. Some may arrive excessively early due to concerns about missing their flight, while others might arrive late due to not accounting for heavy traffic. Late arrivals at the airport can induce worry, especially when faced with long lines at security checkpoints.

Storyboard

Before diving into the user experience flow, I began with creating a storyboard. This phase was particularly exciting as it centered around tackling 'what if' scenarios. The storyboard enabled me to visually map out my creative ideas and explore various solutions to improve the travel experience, both before and after the trip.

Moodboard

I aimed to create a serene and tranquil atmosphere in the mobile app, recognizing its importance for users who access it while on the move. The goal was to ensure the app is not disruptive or distracting, but instead provides a content-focused and informative experience. This approach guided my decision to design the app with an emphasis on clear content display and a calming interface.

Problem-solving

Building on the initial phase of conceptualization, problem identification, and mood board references, I’ve developed a creative yet practical solution. “Airy” is designed to improve users' travel experiences by prioritizing safety and convenience. I’ve crafted a mobile application that places “Airy” right at users' fingertips. To further highlight this innovative solution, a captivating motion graphic video showcases the entire travel experience.

Getting ready for a video...

With the mobile screen designs now complete, I’ve outlined the scripts to prepare for the motion graphic video. The scripts cover the entire journey, from when users are at home through their airport experience, ensuring a thorough and well-considered process. Every step has been meticulously detailed to create a comprehensive and engaging narrative.
